On Monday, we met at Peavey, our practice facility. We worked on the field for our Week Zero, and worked with programmers to try to get the robot driving.
On Tuesday, we made CAD designs for the gussets on the Rover chassis. Unfortunately, the 3D-printed wheel hubs on our Monster chassis were stripped, and have to be replaced. A temporary solution was formulated until new hubs can be machined.
The field was also worked on extensively, particularly the programming, system engineering and other logistics in preparation for the Week Zero tournament.
Our manipulator design was revised so that it can double as a ball intake system. This will be helpful so that if we end up on an alliance with another defense specialist, we can score.
